80g deduction on sponsorship

Dear Friends,

One of our client making sponsorship to a trust. The trust has 80G certificate.

1. Can 80G deduction be claimed on Sponsorship amount?

2. On receipt of sponsorship amount, can a trust give a receipt mentioning such amount is eligible for 80g benefit?
