my client is proprietor of 2 different company so he need to take 2 gst no or 1, if 1 then how accounting or return filed
Firstly Proprietor runs firm and not company.If both these firm are registered under same PAN and having its business in one state only then you can file single registration.In this case one firm will be reg as principal place of business and other as additional place of business.but if both these firm are in separate state then you have to take separate reg.In case of diiferent business vertical within same state one has option to take separate registration.
