The Board of Studies in its endeavour to facilitate students in learning anytime and from anywhere by leveraging technology, has decided to organize 3-days Refresher Course on Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Final Course and Intermediate (IPC) Course students.
GST aims to make India a common market with common tax rates and procedures and remove the economic barriers thus paving the way for an integrated economy at the national level. The Government of India intends to implement GST by July 1, 2017. Therefore, with a view to keep our students abreast with the nuances of this new tax, the BoS is proposing 3-days Refresher Course on GST from May 25, 2017 to May 27, 2017 wherein a 2-hour webcast would be organized on each day followed by a One-Day Seminar on other related topics at the Regional Councils and Branches.
