I am a Graduate student and want to register for IPCC(under direct entry scheme) i have gone through the website of ICAI and i got the application form but i am little confused about IPCC till now ,That if register for IPCC then I have to complete ITT( Information Technology Training) and orientation programme and after that group-I and Appear for the exam and after passing it i have to register for Group-II or both the group at a time, it depends upon me and after that i can Register for Articleship Training. But,some how i have gone through the student forum they are telling that after passing GROUP-I I am eligible for 3 yrs Articleship training (which is Mandatory for getting into final) and after training i can appear for GROUP-II ,but if i appear for group wise and pass both group and after that i register for 3 YRS Articleship Training . Please advice me...which way should i choose. Email-id cituchakraborty@gmail.com

I think this paragraph from the notification clearly indicates that existing IPCC students can start articleship.

Being an ipcc student and a graduate, i personally feel, i simply wasted both money and time by writing cpt. I still have to write ipce in november and even if i clear the first group there, i can join articleship probably after february or in february. If i fail in that attempt, this 'probability' postpones to 6 months more. On the other hand, a person who just completed his graduation now can directly join articleship in september or december. That means, by registering for ipcc i have spoiled my own 6 months time or even a year. Not fair at all.
