Dear Deepak please refer Supreme court order dated 14/10/2011 stay available to the members of retailers association is for service tax pertaining to period prior to 30.09.2011 (not 01/07/2010 as mentioned by you)on subject to 50% payment.
Electricity and water charges if collected separately then it would be considered as reimbursement of cost hence in my view it is not taxable. Other society charges may be considered on the basis of substance.
What about electricity, water charges and other society charges collected by landlord from tenant? Whether it would also be taxable?
