Cruise ahead beyond your limitations

Nobody is born perfect. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses. May be we are good at learning certain subjects but weak in others. May be we have impressive speaking skills but not so good writing skills.  It all varies from person to person. I would like to write something on improving our limitations and cruising ahead.

What comes to my mind is a true story of a  friend( he is a CA now) of mine  who wasn't very good in English. He did his schooling in a non English medium school. So you can guess his level of English. He knew about  this weakness of his and made up his mind to find ways to improve his English. From class XII, he, for the first time started to read English newspaper. But he badly  needed the dictionary. Everyday  he did this. After XII, he joined CA. Law was challenging for him But I tell you what, his habit of reading newspaper bore fruit. Yes, he passed CA in flying colours, when many others around him failed miserably.

So its clear that if you make up your mind, no limitation of yours will stand as a limitation.

Check this out:

All of us might have heard of Helen Keller. an American author, political activist, and lecturer.  She wasn't infact born deaf and blind. She contracted a serious illness that left her so. With the help of Anne Sullivan, her instructor, who tried to  communicate by spelling words into her hand,  Helen  learnt to communicate using her hands, and eventually became  the first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Whenever we meet with failures, we need to understand that its not the end of the road. There are opportunities waiting for us. Nodoby is incapable of achieving what he wishes to achieve.

According to scientists, the bumblebee's body is too heavy and its wing span too small. As per aerodynamic laws, the bumblebee cannot fly. But the bumblebee doesn't know this. All it knows is that God has given it 2 beutiful but small wings and  it keeps flying from flower to flower enjoying the nectar.

When you don't know your limitations, you go out and surprise yourself. In hindsight, you wonder if you had any limitations. The only limitations a person has are those that are self-imposed. So lets forget our limitations and cruise ahead.

Wishing you all success.
