Wrt Annaul Technical Services on Software Maintance, my client about enter an aggreement with his client. Can you please let me know whether its liablie to VAT as per the Karnataka VAT Act.

If the contract for service involves any material transfer during the service, then vat is applicable on transfer of goods involved.
