CIMA India holds annual convocation ceremony with members & students

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) India organized its annual convocation ceremony for members and students for this year.

Graced by the CIMA President himself, StevenSwientozielskyj, FCMA, CGMA together with the Chairman of Deloitte, P.R. Ramesh, the ceremony recognizes183 top rankers, 73 exam complete students and 148 newly admitted members. Over 100 family members were also invited to witness this auspicious ceremony.

The member’s recognition also means receiving the Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, a trophy and CGMA pin.

Following the launch of the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation in 2012, both CIMA and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) have come together to form the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (also known as the Association). Operational since January 2017, the Association represents 667,000 members and students in public and management accounting. With broad reach, rigor and resources, the Association advances the reputation, employability and quality of CGMAs and accounting and finance professionals globally.

CGMA is the most widely held management accounting designation in the world. It distinguishes accounting and finance professionals who have advanced proficiency in finance, operations, strategy and management.

For the CIMA exam complete category 73 students and in the top ranker category 183 students, received a CIMA trophy and certificate as part of the grand recognition ceremony.

The recognition ceremony is an annual event where the CIMA President attends in most of the countries worldwide acknowledging newly admitted CIMA members and high achieving CIMA students.
