goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system shall be based on a Unique Identification Marking which shall be affixed on the said goods or the packages thereof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will provide a legal framework for developing such a system and will help in implementation of mechanism for tracing specified commodities throughout the supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"ez-toc-container\" as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>contain issuer details,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>place of manufacturing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>machine used for manufacturing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>market for retail,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>shipping details (import).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_Track_and_Trace_Mechanism_is_applied\"><\/span>Why Track and Trace Mechanism is applied?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Track and Trace Mechanism is already opted by countries like Europe, UK etc to stop smuggling &amp; revenue leakage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By implementing this system, these regions ensure the transparency of goods movement across the supply chain which help to monitor, verify the origin, transit, and sale of products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this specific countries this mechanism is used for cigarettes but in India it may also extent to PAN masala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_it_can_be_Tracked\"><\/span>How it can be Tracked?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ID_Issuer\"><\/span>ID Issuer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Europe, an ID issuer is responsible for providing Unique Identification Marking (UIM).
