NBFC-Loan Restructuring

If some property loan takers of NBFC want to reduce EMI, and paid part sum of the principal amount and for the remaining amount, person want to reschedule loan with same term but with lower emi with the current remaining principal amount. Shall that reconstruction of loan be considered as NPA for 12 months? Client didn't defaulted any emi and paid around 60% of remaining principal amount as lumsum payment. and for 40% he want to restructure the loan with lower emi.
