  Workshop on Capital Gain Taxation & Exemptions and Taxation



Direct taxation is one of the most crucial areas for the growth of Indian economy and achieving the social and infrastructure developmental goals. Our taxation system has undergone reforms over the years with rationalisation of tax rates, simplification of tax laws, better compliance mechanisms, ease of tax payment and improved enforcement. The Government of India has been announcing several reforms to improve the tax system for the taxpayers in the country. Taxation of Start-Ups is in the news. However, there continues to be contentious issues and there is need for clarity and change in some provisions.

At this moment, in order to gain deeper and clearer understanding of areas related to Capital Gain Taxation & Exemptions thereof and Taxation on Start-Ups, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a Workshop on Capital Gain Taxation & Exemptions and Taxation of Start-Ups on Thursday, 02nd May 2019, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at PHD Chamber, New Delhi followed by high tea. The objective of the Workshop is to apprise the participants about the issues and developments taking place in taxation arena related to capital gains and also to start-ups.

Participants at the workshop shall include representatives of corporates, business houses, senior executives and professional firms of lawyers, Chartered Accountants and Cost Accountants, tax executives etc.
Senior tax practitioners and experts will interact with the participants at the workshop and share their expert thoughts and suggestions on the topics.

• Rs 1000/- per participant

Students

• Rs 700/ - per participant

(For 3 Participants from an Institute, the total participation fee for them would be Rs.1400/-)

 

 

The payment may be made by online/cash/ cheque/ Demand Draft in favour of "PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry" payable at Delhi.

 

FOR ICSI/CMA MEMBERS

Members of THE INSTITUTE OF COMPANY SECRETARIES OF INDIA and THE INSTITUTE OF COST ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA will be awarded 2 credit hours. Members of the Institute registering for the workshop are required to provide their Institute's Membership number for the same.
