A news item appeared in the Media yesterday and today which states that CBI Team has arrested Income Tax department officials and a Chartered Accountant Anil Jaiswal at Kanpur.
In this regard, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) wishes to clarify that as per the ICAI records, the above said person “Anil Jaiswal “is not a Chartered Accountant. ICAI has no connection whatsoever with the above mentioned person.
The media is therefore requested not to use “Chartered Accountant” against the name of this person in future press report(s) relating to the above matter.
