There is no change in the procedure and as of today, only single challan GAR 7 is required to be deposited. You may ask for the notification or contact the city head office of the SBI to clear the matter or make an epayment which is more easy and a way to escape from these banker's harassment.
There is no change in the procedure of challan pymt. But i think, nowadays it is better to pay through netbanking.
