Hey...This is just my opinion and will be nagging me till I complete my Final..But if our study material presentation is anything close to the book I uploaded(Admins can delete this is they want since I have no right to post copyrighted material and I didn't ask permission..This is jus to prove my point.) here then we wouldn't be seeing so many reference books in the market.. I personally feel our material isn't lacking content-wise but it's just that it is completely devoid of student-friendly presentation.. not asking that book should be colorful with high quality pictures but they can put an effort to it..

You can completely ignore my cries. It's like a customer venting out their dissatisfaction with other customers..But mailing the BOS will not help.. For now I will leave it at that....Waiting for ur opinion guys..

P.S. The material I uploaded has very good content it covers Part-1 of Forex in 170 pages so it is useful for SFM..:)

I agree, the material that you have uploaded is actually presented in a very good manner.

Mr jayram you are absolutly right ,the books provided by institute is enough for understanding the concept..and you are also right in pointing out that the material can be presented in better manner..

Jus send me a PM and I will send the full book. It's 700 pages and supposing the same content is put up in a study material like ours it would be 1500 pages- we will never touch it in our life time (our study material uses ARIEL with font size 12-13 whereas this font uses Calibri, Times New Roman with font size of 6-7)...

The point I am making here is imagine our ISCA or Commercial Law book with smaller font... And because of this the chapter size will be substantially reduced...Psychologically we will feel the chapter is small so we can finish the whole chapter at a more efficient pace( just think how do we manage to read harry potter, a jeffrey archer or even a Lord of the Rings when each of these average to about 400 pages but when it comes to study books we go at a snail pace---the key is novels and most professional books use small font).. I argued this point with MP Vijay Kumar sir since he asked us for our opinion and suggestions for his next Law, Ethics and Communication book..

This is a very moot point if u ask me..

its true and presentation must be improved

merely providing colorful books is not sufficient enough...

As long as the institute don't understand that people don't mind paying that extra penny to buy reference books.. I mean they can increase the registration fee if they want since such high quality books would require enormous publishing and printing cost...

Our pass percentage would surely go up if institute concentrate on making the book readable or accesible..

Yes, if you go through any Study Material issued by the Institute (PCC/IPCC & Final, can't comment on CPT), you can very easily understand that the required efforts are not put in by the people whoever is responsible for the preparation of the same.

Reason: The study materials are not for sale (generally) because when you register for Final or IPCC/PCC, you have to pay for the study materials as well (cost of material is included in the registration fee) whether you like it or not!

So the Institute is not going to loose anything if they do not draft the Study Materials in a proper and useful manner!

And then...the BOS b*tch about poor pass percentage....well I would also go onto say that even Taxmann or padhuka is jus okayish....In general Indian publishers don't put much effort except on magazines...Only publisher closest to pro is McgrawHill..It would be a decade before ICAI makes an effort..
