The msg is being dispayed because ur macro security level is set at high.

Do the following.

1. Go to Tools->Macros->Security and set the security level at low

2. Next save the file and exit

3.Next wen u wil open the file the macros wil be working fine..

4. You will be shown 2 pop up msgs. Just click ok..

Yes, you get the profession Tax deduction...

That will anyway be shown in your Form 16

i am not asking whether i will get deduction for that...

i am asking that there is no seperate coloumn for profession tax in ITR 2..

so i should deduct that in salary amount itself...

Yes there is no separate column for p.tax in the form so u can obviously deduct that from the salary amount itself..

Actually i have filed the ITR-5 through on-line,but now i need to revise it can i do it ? instead of that if i will not filed the (hard copy)acknowledgemt of the original retun with in 15 days,it willnot amount to ROI filed.then i can file the fresh return.

can some one  pls suggest me.

you are right...

if u dont file the acknowledgement within 15 days then it wont amount to a valid return...

u can file the fresh return.......

But u might face one problem the website may display the message that a return has already been filed against this PAN no.

In that case u can file a revised return and quote the acknowledgement no. of the previous return.
