Can the company on rental basis take a godown for storage of input material as a temporary adjustment ( for 4-5 months ) ?
If yes , From excise angle what precautions shall company need to take?

Yes.You may store goods in any bonded warehouse near to your factory. You better approach your range and ask them about availability no extra precuation is need other than proper recoor and inventory control
