In efiling see jurisdiction against his PAN no. Manually it has to be filed in his ward only. Online you can file - generate ITR-V and send it to him for sign and tell him to send it you (if he is very old). You can personally give it to CPC Bangalore.

No most of Tax payers have filed on line. So there is no Rush at all.
Gone are the days where long Q for IT return filing was there.
If he is healthy he should go and file his return at the Ward. Only manual return for AY 2015-16 is taken where refund is NIl. All other returns for AY 2015-16 has to be filed oline.
But I advice you to file online. Bcoz processing is very fast.
In manual return they feed everything into the system whatever is written in manual Return. Since huge bunches of return are there. -there is a possibility of punching error and when Rs 1000 refund is there - there may be notice for demand of 5000 also. So better file on line u/s 139(4)

Thank u once again Sir...
But this is regarding itr for ay 2013-14. We tried filing online but it is not been accepted.
There is no issue of refund... He had some taxes due which is already been paid and we have challan copy for the same.
The agent has already downloaded the form and filled it. He has suggested that submission for the same form (I.e.for ay 2013-14 can be done after 7th Sept..is it true?)
Please help.
Thank you

Belated return can be filed upto one year from the end of assesment year.
So AY 2013-14 can be filed upto 31 March 2015 which is over.
Now if your father dont want get notice from It dept then he can apply for condonation of delay.
If there is no refund then My suggestion is to wait for Notice from IT when you can reply and file return.
All this while i was thinking about 2015-16

Yes he is correct - reply to IT notice only (after 7/9/2015) by filing return and show that tax liability is zero. Nothing to take tension about. ur father himself can go and meet AO and his case will be sorted out. Just file return and relax. Thats it.
