Hello
My PCC Attempt is in May2010 and I havent yet taken my IT Training course of 100 hours.
My principle says me that if you are going to take IT Training then that dayz will be counted in ur leave. But IT Training is part of articeship training only.
or else
He says that you dont go for training but register yourself there
Can this be happen.
Now what should i do?

hi , when u are doing ur ITT Training it is part of ur articleship and u need to attend classes positively otherwise they will not issue a certificate to u. so tell ur principle that its part of articleship period and it is not to be taken as leave.

Neha, what your Principal says may be true. It will depend on the centre you do your IT training at.
The centre that I went to was run by very unprofessional and relaxed teachers. I am quite sure that what your principal is describing probably does happen at many centres.

ITT is part of your article period only. the centre where i attended was quite strict. they were very calculative in attendance. so explain to your principal and show him the prospectus. All the Best

hi neha,
what ur principal was used to b true earlier may b at his time also, but as now the classes are held by institute itself therefore this proxy thing doesn't happen now a days. the centre are strict regarding attendence, project & exams also.
u can do one thing, just tell ur pricipal to confirm it himself & then i think it would b ok for u.

toNeha , as per my knowledge if u went for IT training during your article hours then your employer can not treat as leave it is part of your articleship
& second thing if u register yourself with ICAI for IT training and further u will not attending your training then it will only your loss remember one thing now days trainig will complted by ICAI in very short period (i 20 yo 25 days) & exams r became very complecated
