have you people seen the latest placement data?

Out of 3842 only 582 got placed, this comes out to be roughly 1 out of 7 got placed through institute.

compare this to 2007 may attempt data, out of 1823 students who passed 1187 got placed.

where will these 6 out of 7 students go?

and look at the attitude of ICAI---

".When institutions of international repute are finding it very hard to attract companies to their campuses to place their handful students, ICAI has proved itself as an important destination to recruit entry level finance, audit and compliance executives"

whome are they making fool of ?

My final attempt will be May2010. I dont know what will happen after so much of f#*$ @ ng hardwork, office/classes/college/self-study. will I get placed or roam from one CA to another for a salary of rs.15000-20000.

this is frustrating.....

last year the average pckage ib april placement was 8 lacs

this time 6 lacs

so dnt worry dear it will get well soon

Dont'  be tensed. Think positive..

After all, the position of c.a. students is good rather than the students of other universities and other courses. also the economic position is get well uptill next year.

Now a days, just think of ur exams rather than of these things

  I think ur feeling more.by doing ca even thoug u didnt get goodjob(just assume)  you can establish your ownpractice . I think no profession can offer this kind of double damaka.So my friend be free and study well and you may be the 1 out of 7.wat u say..............................

hey ravi..i guess u should not worry about that..u should b confident enough that u can b 1 out of 7...well even i think even this position will not come again...coz situation is improving day by day...n soon the day will come when 6 out of 7 students will b selected..

i am truly with..

the campus placement provided by institute is not upto the mark...

the only one thing to boast of,tht is showing high Salary...

but the percentage of students getting placed is vey dismal...

they shud try to improve it...

but yet i have not seen any charterd accountant not having a job...

and if ur communication skills r good u will be selected in interview of CA placement...

the reason is that the stuff of ca syllabus content is known by everyone who has passed the ca...

but the communication skill makes the difference between the CA & talented CA....

c'mon dont loose hope buddy.. if u r good then no recession can stop u from getting a desired job
