Prepare well the subjects overall once again before u going interview and just act spontaneously when you receiving questions from interviewers.

Be confident and looking should be bold, wear formal dress.

Even you not answered some questions don't use your patience and be confident in that position mainly.

Gud Luck Friend............................................

to apply for articleship in any firms , follow following steps....

1. prepare your c.v. or resume in a professional manner

2. check for firms and vacancy in your selected firm

3. talk (if possible) with articles of that firm and their view for their firm and employer.. exposure, etc...

4. Try to go in that firm where there is minimum OR no paid assistants'  staff...

5. Be very much sure about your decision because wrong decision will make you "suffer" for 3 years..... it's a big deal...

and one very important fact.......... "ARTICLES ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED IN ANY OFFICE ...."( MOSTLY)

i was being an article of one of the big four audit firm can suggest you to prepare for the interview on the following topics :-

1. Throughly Revise the Accounting Standards even don't leave a single accounting standard.

2.Throughly Revise the Companies Act sections relevant to audit like disqualification of Auditor (sec 226), Celling on the no of audits (sec 224 1B) etc.

3. Try to prepare for few audting areas like fixed assets, cash & bank means if you have been asked to audit these areas what are the aspects you will audit first etc.

4.Last but certainly not the least you should be in complete professional attire and present yourself confidently even if you don't know answer of few questions tell them you don't know be honest there.

Best of Luck and do well........
