Dear Dorje,
Section 10 26-A was removed years ago.
You can claim exemption under 10 (26).
Since its exempted income, you should cacluate as part of your income, but mention later in segement called -exempted income (for information).

sorry dude. no clear solutions till date, im unable to find a satisfactory answer to this question. for years tds is being deducted but im am helpless because the taxman wont issue exemption certificate citing non recognition of my tribe in the state of posting. kindly inform if you have any answers.
