I Got This Feeling someone is watching me.
Yes it was a great song, but it is also the feeling that a lot of folks get. Many people feel their home is being bugged, or worse yet there might be hidden cameras it it.
While paranoia explains a lot of this, let me tell you, It is not all paranoia. Businesses, Corporations, and yes many homes are under surveillance without the owner ever knowing it. Worse yet, most people cannot find the covert devices!
You see it in the spy movies, an audio bug, or people sitting in a room listening in headphones to a big reel to reel tape recorder.

How about a hidden camera detector that will find any camera wired, or wireless. And less that $150.00 It is called the Personal Spy Finder.
Or a Frequency counter that can pick up open audio bugs in most settings. They pick up radio signals and start at under $200.00. Or how about a telephone tap detector that tells you if someone is listening in.
This security does not have to be expensive, and in most cases it is even portable. In my humble opinion the best use for a hidden camera finder is not just in your home, but how about a hotel room, or changing room, or even a sun tanning bed?

In a parting note, I just want to say that most audio bugs are simply very small digital tape recorders. They are placed under tables with Velcro or such. Also they are very hard to find.
As far as hidden cameras, there is something to worry about. When you can get a camcorder inside a functional ink pen, then you really should be concerned about your privacy. The good news is that most cameras can be easily found with the right equipment.
