Do u all think that CA course has lost its charm now a days.
what are the changes u all would like to see in our course to make it regain the charm.
One change certainly needs to be the criteria of Final Results. ; ]

Analysis of current position -
passed out 5100 both grup + out of 29000 single
group students , atleast 7000 completed ca
course . . .total ca pass outs = 12000 out of
those opting for practice approx 1000 , and
employment rate 10 -15 % approx so 1000- 1500
employed and so the number of CA passouts
that will be left unemployed after campus =
10000 CAs...
if 10000 unemployed is not a bad news then i dont know what bad is....

Frnz, dont panic, as we all knw, by 2015, as per the treaty with WTO, India has to impliment IND AS , Dirct tax code, GST, Company bill,etc.. During dat regime, the demand for CAs will automatically increase..
Blaming ICAI is meaningless.. They wont do any such thing which will affect d career of CA's...

@ Abhirup:
Ask any fresher from May2011/Nov2011 batch who didn't get a job @ campus.
Even the ones who got jobs at campus aren't happy ; but they r bound to continue because of job market.........pass more cAs w/o ensuring quality.........There might be such situation when CAs will open their small makeshift office infront of ROC offices and shout like a hawker like "mere se Cert of Incorp bannwalo; mein 50 hi letaa hu" or sth like that ... (just like we see vakils under black chhatri o/s municipal courts)

THERE is ALSO ONE SIMPLE LOGIC, IF SUPPLY INCREASES DEMAND DECREASES...
I KNOW MANY OF MY FRIENDS WHO WERE STRUGGLING TO CLEAR FEW YEARS BACK CLEARED WITH LESS EFFORT THIS TIME...
DOES THERE INTELLIGENT GREW UP SUDDENLY, DO THEY BECOME SMART QUICKLY..
WHEN I ASKED THEM , THEY SAID NW THE VALUATION IS VERY LIBERAL now.
what icai shoul do to control the supply
1) increase the aggreggate to pass from 50 to 55 % rather than manipulating the result, which cannot be done nw coz of RTI.
2) increase the standard of questions.

Hye all,
Before commenting anything, I would like to ask you all, do you thing 10,000 CAs can sit unemployed?
If you don't get a job, will you sit idle?
