DEAR EXPERTS,

WE ARE A PVT LTD COMPANY HAVE DEDUCTED TDS U/S 192 AND FILED ETDS FOR THE FY 2011-12. NOW MY

PROBLEM IS EMPLOYEE ASKING THE FORM 16 BUT STILL WE ARE UNABLE TO DOWLOAD THE SAME FROM NSDL

WEBSITE BECOZ IT IS UNDER PROCESS AS THE IT DEPT.. HAVE MENTIONED IN THE WEBSITE.

NOW MAY I ISSUE FORM 16 MANUALLY WHICH I HAVE PREPARED ALREADY., OR IS IT MANDATORY THAT FORM 16

IS TO BE GENERATED THROUGH NSDL WEBSITE ONLY..?

PLEASE HELP ME...

Dear Mr. PRASAD !

Form No. 16 consists of two parts namely Part-A and Part B. Part A is relating to TDS particulars and Part B is relating to ‘Details of salary paid and any other income and tax deducted’.

Presently ‘Tax information net work of Income-tax Department’ is giving only Part-A particulars. Hence download the same from NSDL website. However you have to give Form No.16 as usual. But there must not be any difference in TDS particulars. Issue two forms of Form No.16 to the employees (one from NSDL and the other one prepared by you as in last year)
