PRACTICING CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

WHO WAS THE FIRST CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT OF INDIA. SOMEBODY SAYS THAT FIRST CAs WERE NOMINATED TO BRING THE ICAI IN EXISTANCE.

IS THERE ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT IT.

first Chartered Accountant Registered with Membership no.! of The Institute of Chartered accountants of India was Late Shri G.P.Kapadia.whose firm G.P.Kapadia & co is one of the good firm of Chartered accountants.Every year the student who secures First rank In Chartered Accountants Examination is awarded G.P. Kapadia gold Medal which is in his memory.
