ESIC

Hi,

I am working in a Limited Company.  I want to know that in case of ESIC,  if the contractor has delayed in submission of  the return on contribution under ESIC Act (ESIC- Regulation 26) than whether since being a principal employer our company is liable for any damage or penalty for delay filing of return.........

Yes, Whether u are going by contractor or own that is irrespective of the act. Your duty is file a return within the due date specifed by the Act or otherwise you will liable for delay as per the act.
