Error on efiling

First register your digital signature with IT website, then log out & again log in, then upload.

Your DSC is not registered with the Income Tax website.

Login with your ID, then click "register my DSC", fill the details and then log out.

Login again to continue filing your return

As confirm by the CPC Banglore it is known that IT Department's "Schema File" is not working properly.So if possible do not file your return till Friday i.e.1st of June,2012.

 As problem  is discribed by You , You have to update yours software for overcome the problem .. there is no need to wait till friday june 2012

am new to this forum! Last time I filed my ITR online without any problem, but this time I am facing an issue like - in the macro excel file after providing all the details when I click on the Calculate Tax button it automatically adds a new tax to the column "Total Interest u/s 234a, 234b, 234c" whereas in my Form 16 no such tax is paid or any detail available regarding that. so there is a difference in the amount of tax I paid(available in Form 16) and the macro excel sheet. Now I am worried to attach this excel as the information varies between the two. Your help would be much appreciated.

Even i am facing the problem while uploading the revised return for the company.

Can any one let me know till ven we can expect the efiling Site to be corrected???

We are also facing the same problem from the day IT has enabeled the ITR4.

Tried with 3 diffrent DSC provider, but same error.

Any one has any updates till when the problem is expected to be rectified by IT.

There is a  issue in ITR-4 ,  Most probably the issue would be resolved in couple of days

its not only with ITR 4 its will all return uploaded with DSC,

Other returns are getting uploading without any issue with the help of DSC. May i know what exactly the error you are facing.

You all may file  all type of ITR's through DSC by downloading fresh excel utility from https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do   site . Also please note if any one is getting  fakepath error while filing then request you to please create a folder in  C DRIVE of your computer with the name "fakepath" & save the xml file in the same folder & upload successfully
