It's urgent------------------------

during the online payment of service tax i couldn't  take the printout of challan due to electricity problem,but amount has alreday deducted from my bank account . the bank statement is showing the amount of payment of service tax my question is :-

1. how to get the challan 

2. is bank statement is valid for showing the payment of service tax.

Banks also offer view challan payment options on their website and a copy is often sent to the email address linked with the bank account.

In most net banking websites following procedure is applicable:

Log in> payments > cbec payments > view payments made > (give the range of dateduring which payment was made) > click view > click view challan > then print it.
