I got a notice from ROC dated 21/01/2013 for non filing of balance sheet & profit and loss a/c for 31.03.2012. As the due date for filing has been extended to 15/02/2013 without late fee then why am I getting such notice. I have to give a reply within 14 days so what should I say?

Please suggest.

The date for filing is extended but if your AGM has been done then you have to file Balance Sheet & P&L A/c within 1 month of AGM.....

In your reply, state the above mentioned fact with the copy of the circular.

@ RS

Don't worry even we have received such notices recently even after filing all documents timely. Just write a letter stating the fact and mentioning the time extension letter.

However I think you must have filed the 20B, do give the details of filing and challan
