Firstly what actually matters is your interest. I know it sounds cliched, but it is true. MBA is totally different from CA. MBA is a general degree whereas CA is a specialisation of sorts.
Secondly what matters are your grades in BCom and MBA and type of institutions you pursue them from. An MBA from a greater Noida College is not Equivalent to MBA from IIMs(older ones) and some other top rung institutes.
Third is financial angle, MBA from a tier-1 college, except FMS,Delhi university and some other colleges, the fees is in excess of Rs 10lacs. Even other sundry colleges will cost you atleast 3 lacs for the 2 year program. Whereas CA officailly costs you a little more than 30k. Also MBA from an IIM requires you to have a consistent good academic background and you get cookie points for being a professional. So chances of a simple graduate diminish manifold.
As for the scope, both are required in a developing economy, you need compliance professionals for ensuring proper compliance of rules and regulations. and MBA for growing business.
In the end its your decision, these are some of the points I could think of at this time. Hope it helps. All the best, choose wisely.

Future scope of CA is obviously is greater than MBA as the supply of MBAs is quite large. Every year more MBAs storm the market than there are total CAs in India since independence. To be able to compete with a CA,a person has to be atleast from a Tier 2 college. Whereas a well trained CA with rank or first attempt commands equivalent respect in market as Tier 1 colege graduate. Also if you are a CA and you are good with numbers you can go into finance directly you dont even need need an MBA for that.
For deciding the scope in market,as I said,Undergraduate degree plays a pivotal role. Most of the IIM walas are Engineers or other professionals. So their employability increases because of that too. A b.com is a graduation degree which is just an extension of school, which does not add value in knowledge terms to compete with a Professional. Hence a normal graduate sees his avenues limited after completing his MBA.
Having said that it will not be prudent to leave Bcom and pursue only CA,as it is kind of a distance learning program and you will be facing exams after atleast a year and a half now and in CA there is no guarantee that it will be a smooth sail upto finals. Also if you miss DU,you will miss all the masti in the campus which is also important part of life. B.Com(Hons) of DU is not that hard nut to crack and both complement each other, rather a CA student excels in the subjects thought to be tough in the curriculum. So you can go the traditional way in which many students ,including me,have gone since time immemorial- Do both CA and B.com together or the other way would be Opt for B.com as CA can be started even after 2nd year after you have settled in college environment, but B.com is one time opportunity.
In short,- CA+MBA > CA > B.com+MBA,in decreasing order.
After CA you dont need an MBA finance if you possess good comm and presentation skills

Look harry,
Whatever the world says about Ca in the wrong sense should immediately be ignored. Cause CA was, is and will always remain one of the most popular courses possible. Why???? Because in simple words, A CA is 1 of the most important persons as regard co's Inception, working, dissolution or any other matter is concerned.
So therefore yes, until u do ur MBA from a reputed institution or from an IIM the pay package will be high but look @ the long term benefits. CA has always remained one of the most well respected persons in the industry.
Moreover indian CA's are globally respected. so even if(which is a very remote chance) role of a CA reduvces you still would always have a choice to move abroad. :P

Both professions have their own pros and cons There is no defined parameter to judge both at the same level. However i would suggest you to go for both as in CA + MBA. Becase it will render you better job opportunity.
