The exemption obtained by you in November 2012 exam would last only for the next three exams, i.e. for May 2013, November 2013 and May 2014 exam, irrespective of the fact whether you appeared in those exams or not.

as already said the exemptions will last for 3 attempts irrespective whether u gave exam or not.

about the preparation u will have to go through this paper conceptually otherwise it is just a nightmare.

just spend a little more time on topics like international finance and derivatives.

practice the institute practice manual thoroughly.

this is the paper where u can get the highest from all others just right approach is required.

Till May 2014, your exemption is valid.
