Hello Experts,
Could any one clarify me, whether is there any need for a company to compulsory appoint Statutory Audior as Tax Auditor also?Is it possible to appoint any other CA as Tax Auditor othe than Stat.Auditor.
Is it mentioned any where in Tax audit Notes or company act not to do so? Please Clarify with relevent references.

as per the requirement of companies act , a company can appoint same person as well as different person as statutory and tax auditor

COMPANY CAN APPOINT ANOTHER PERSON /FIRM AS A TAX AUDITOR
there is no need to appoint the statutory auditor as the Tax auditor..... u can appoint any other CA.
Tax auditor need to be appointed under Income tax act, 1961 and Statutory auditor is need to be appointed under companies act, 1956.
and none of the provision of above 2 acts or even any other act specified such a condition that Tax and Statutory auditor must be same.
