Block website servers & people from sending you Emails in Gmail

Using following steps, you can block any one from sending you emails in Gmail. Remember by blocking people on Gmail chat, you cannot stop them from sending you emails. Moreover, if you are getting may mails in your mailbox from any website in which you have registered, but no you are not interested in receiving email, then you can block emails that you are receiveing automatically from that website server. For example, if you are a member of CAclubindia, then you will receive email whenever any new friend request you or PM you or any one replies in your forum. Now you do not like to spam your inbox by these kinds of emails. Then use these steps:

 

Go to Gmail

 

Go to Mail Settings

 

Go to Filter

 

Click on Add Filter

 

You will see 5 blank spaces like  To,     From,     Having Word,      Not Having    etc..

 

Enter the email address of the person you want to block from sending you emails in the From space.

 

If you want to block emails from the server of any website, then observe email headding that you are receiving from that website. For example, you are a member of shaadi.com, then you will get all mails from shaadi. com having title of shaadi.com. Now you want to block shaadi.com from sending you emails, then add the word Shaadi.com in the Having word space

 

Then press button Next Step

 

Then you will see may menus like move to,     delete,    etc.

 

Check the box of delete

 

Click on create filter.

 

Then that email sender or website server gets blocked and cannot send you emails.
