what is the position of an articled assisstant serving under a chartered accountant if the chartered accountant under whom he is taking training retires from a partership firm and takes partership in other firm

is the articled assisstant required to intimate the icai about this or he is automatically transferred to the other firm in which his principal has taken partnership.
