29 December 2014 Mr A (Prop)under audit case

His case come under scrutiny for the FY 2012-13.

In which officer has disallowed HRA given to employee.

disallowed the exp to the extend 180000.00 and charge income tax.

Sir my question is:

(i) employee has file return as per hra given what will happen?

(ii) know tds is also applicalbe.

(iii) clearly explain from the point of view of employer and employee on urgnet basis

29 December 2014 you check the calcualtion of hra as per sec 10(13A) in both as per departments notice and actual as claimed and see.

29 December 2014 HRA TAXABLITIY AS PER OUR RECORD IS MORE BY 500 AS PER COMPARE TO DEPATRMENT

29 December 2014 HRA TAXABILITY AS PER DEPT IS 100000/- but as per our record is Rs.100500/- (by mistaken excess hra taxable)

29 December 2014 then do as directed in the notice and 500 excess shall be taxable.

29 December 2014 you have to pay tax amount with intt.




29 December 2014 how will pay the tax employer or employee

29 December 2014 hra is claimed by employee so on excess 500 employee needs to pay tax

30 December 2014 Mr. X has given following allownace:

HRA
childern eduacation allowance
childern hostel allowance
conveyance allowance
car allowance.

in ITR-2 where it is shown for FY 2013-14.
