10 June 2012 You can invest Rs. 100000/- in LIC, PPF< NSC, 5 Yrs Tax Savings FDR etc. You can get Deduction upto amount invested or Rs. 100000. For other Savings Schemes refer Section 80C
.
You can claim Deduction towards Medi-Claim
Premium also upto Rs. 15000/ for self and your family out of which Rs. 5000/ can be claimed towards preventive health check up. For Parents also separate deduction of Rs.15000/20000 also available.
