regarding 80g registration

27 October 2016 sir, we have registered a public trust recently (in last month).we want to take donations.is it possible to register 80g now? what are the procedures and what documents needed for 12A/80G registration

28 October 2016 You Need to file 10A and 10G to the income tax department having jurisdiction of your trust along with these documents:

Registration Certificate and MOA /Trust Deed (two copies – self attested by NGO head);

1. NOC from Landlord (where registered office is situated);

2. Copy of PAN card of NGO;

3. Electricity Bill / House tax Receipt /Water Bill (photocopy);

4. Evidence of welfare activities carried out & Progress Report since inception or last 3 years;

5. Books of Accounts, Balance Sheet & ITR (if any), since inception or last 3years;

6. List of donors along with their address and PAN;

7. List of governing body board of trustees members with their contact details;

8. Deed for verification Original RC and MOA /Trust;

9. Authority letter in favor of NGO Factory;

10. Any other document/ affidavit / undertaking information asked by the Income Tax department.
