07 February 2013 Foreign citizens will have to submit their 'Application for allotment of new PAN’ in newly notified Form 49AA only.

07 February 2013 thanks sir what are all the procedures sir what documents they need to produce.is there any new procedure to US citizens if they are green card holder

07 February 2013 Documents to be submitted for Foreign Citizen located in India at the time of application for PAN :-

1) Proof of Identity:- Copy of Passport
or
Copy of Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
card issued by Government of India
or
Copy of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card issued by Government of India

2) Proof of Address:-
a) Passport
b) Copy of Bank account statement in India
c) Copy of Residential permit issued by the State Police Authorities
d) Copy of Registration certificate issued by the Foreigner's Registration Officer
e) Copy of Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card issued by Government of India
f) Copy of NRE bank account statement
g) Copy of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card issued by Government of India
