 Sir
An NRI settled in Canada earned interest about Rs 2.5 lakhs during 2011-12 (FY), Bank deducted about Rs 50000/- as TDS. Whether he can utilise the TDS towards Income tax payable on income from House property and Interest on NRO accounts
