    1. Is interest on long term (10 years) recurring deposit in bank is taxable amount as per Indian Income Tax Act ? 2. If yes, how much tax is needed to be paid and at what time ( during each financial year or at the end i.e., maturity )? (Interest is being added quaterly in the RD Passbook). 3. Is the amount comes within the Rs. 10,000/- limit of interest without tax for SB Accounts ? 4. If Tax is to be paid in each financial year, what is the section as per IT Act ?

    Hope you are doing great. In one of your post here at CA club, in regards to notice 1431a , you mentioned that we can ask the tax deptt to issue the intimation. Could you please let me know how can i do that? Do i have to send any letter or form to tax deptt so that they can resend me that intimation. Would really appreciate your response on this.
