Non filing of tax return

15 May 2013 hello sir my name is sumit and my father is contractor due to some reason we are not filed return for the a.y.2011-12 till date. my father's turnover for the same A.Y. is 10000000 and tds. rs. 184000. is there any thing we can done. for filling return and for the refund.

15 May 2013 FILING RETURNS FOR THE ASSESSMENT YEAR 2011-12 IS TIME BARRED NOW AND AS SUCH YOU CANNOT FILE AN INCOME TAX RETURN FOR THE SAID ASST. YEAR.

Sir i replied for the query assuming normal circumstances wherein it can be safely presumed that the assessee is at fault.
Condonation of Delay is surely the ultimate option but it is applicable to avoid genuine hardship of the taxpayer. And moreover the word used is "May" and not "Must".
Considering that the taxpayer willfully didnt filed ITR then board is not bound to accept the ITR.
