Hi
I am in my last year of articleship training in a audit firm.
i just wanted to know how far is industrial training useful in articleship?
A company has asked for 50 trainees in finance trainee post...wat will be the type of jobs to be done there and level of exposure?

THE ICAI announced the exam date for november 10 . Nothing about PE2 !!.
As per the regional chapters there is no more PE2. they should transfer to IPCC.
what about the articleship ???. The IPCC student can join Articleship after passing the 1st group. what about the PE2 1st group passed students?? in one student passed PE2 1st group 3 years back he cant eligible to articleship till date from his passing date of 1st group. his entire 3 years waste .
Can THE ICAI compensate this ??????

ICAI playing with PE2 Students.
when PCC came that time also not allowed to transfer to PCC to who joined to CA after completing graduation, what is law is this ???
PCC students already completed 3 year articleship with out passing even single group also and after completing Class 12 .
Board of Studies gambling with PE 2 Students life.
Every student should protest this .
every student should say this problem to PRISIDENT of ICAI

I wanted to ask whether excess leave taken from the office is elegible for set off to the extent of excess hours worked in the office.
I m working 5 days a week 8 hours daily which makes it 40 hours. and as per institute's rule 35 hours per week are sufficient. so can I claim these 5 hours excess per week served against my excess leave taken? So that I can reduce my supplementory articleship. Please reply.

According to regulation 59, leave entitlement available to article assistant is calculated as follows,
Entitlement of leave *=Period worked(Excl. Leave)/6
Subject to maximum leave available is 156 days for 3 years articleship.
Institute examination ( incl. intervening holidays) days are not considered as leave.
Can any body tell me whether public holiday & sundays are considered as leave taken or it is considered as period worked?

I wanted to know, Is articleship training is compulsory or can I do it after completing ca course? Can I join for articleship training after cpt? Or do I have to join after passing ipcc? I need ur advices plz reply me soon. I want to complete my ca as soon as possible.
