Respected All,
We have imported Resuscitation Kit (It is useful for Manual Ventilation, Medical Equipement(Life Saving) from outside India & also paid custom duty. I want to know this product includes in which category(Custom), I heard, vat % depend on this category is it right?
This product mainly use for 'Life Saving Equipement/Kit' I want to Custom Category & Vat % on this product.

we have takeover a newly constructed distillery company, in which no production has been started till now so that no benefits of MODVAT of Excise Duty, Service Tax, VAT has not been taken. Accounts are showing as Receivable.
Pls guide that MODVAT benefits can be availed in new registered company.
Pls send any notification, guideline in this regards.

We are manufacturers of cotton bales. We have units in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
I have doubt regarding EPCG lic., for our units in Maharashtra we have applied EPCG Lic. from Mumbai / Pune DGFT, now my doubt is for our new unit which is going to start within 15-20days, can we apply the IEC/RCMC/EPCG Lic. from Hyderabad DGFT itself, if yes, what is the procedure ?
I will be awaiting for reply.
