From July 1, 2010 Base rate concept has come into effect and what is this base rate and how is it different from Benchmark Primary Lending Rate?
Can every bank have their own base rate?

In the case of a Liaison office which is practically defunct, how does one close the LO when there is no bank account opened at the time of opening of LO or thereafter. This query is raised since RBI has down delegated the function to Authorised Dealers effective Feb 2010. Whatever expenses incurred by the LO was paid by direct remittance from parent company and hence no local payment involved.
