Is it mandatory in law to have shop or regn address in commercial area can firm face any kind of problems if they get residential property registered in excise or as companies registered address??

Hi

There should not be any problem, if you are converting residencial property into commercial property for Excise Registration. Most of the Dealers/ Traders are doing the same transactions.

During filing of application (SACER) to Excise for Registration, you will need to submit the ground plan, owenership document of the said premises.

Thanks Kishore ji, Can u please guide me regarding ownership document should there be a proper registry proof or gen power of attorney or sale agreement would be a sufficient document there? what are other documents that would be required in case of a new registrant partnership firm
