Raising funds by a public unlisted companies

06 December 2012 What are the possible ways for a Public Unlisted Company to raise funds from the public with out getting listed on any of the Stock Exchanges.

Is it possible or is there any methods or provision in the law to collect funds from the public on monthly basis to run a business.

The raised amounts shall be refunded to the public after a certain fixed time along with interest.

Please help on the issue
