Capital expenditure

Can anyone please explain what is the difference between allocable and un-allocable capital expenditure?

25 May 2016 Allocated capital expenditure is the expenditure which you can allocate to a particular fixed asset. Whereas on the other hand, the expenditure which cannot be allocated to a particular fixed asset but is incurred for the overall efficiency for a group of fixed assets. This type of cases are found in capital repairs and maintenance.
