the assessee has received refund cheque with incorrect account number. this is because the assessee provided incorrect account number in ITR. Application for reissue of cheque is not being accepted online by returning the message "there is no refund failure". Does the assessee needs to get the cheque cancelled for applying for refund reissue with correct bank account number? If yes, then from where and how can the cheque be cancelled?
