04 May 2016 Candidates who clear their Final Examination of Chartered Accountancy Examination are qualified Chartered Accountants.

A person whose name is entered in the register with ICAI as member of the Institute can use the prefix CA against their name.

The term certified Chartered Accountant is not the right way to address a member of ICAI.
