Arrear salary

This query is : Resolved

04 August 2016 Dear Sir,
One of my client got Arrear salary for AY's 2015-16,14-15&13-14 during this year,ie AY 2016-17...While go through his previous returns,I found that for AY 2013-14,he showed his salary say Rs.420000 and filed the return...,but at 26AS it is 510000...but in Form 16 it is 525000....now there is a demand of Rs.1500 in compliance sheet....arrear salary for AY 2013-14 is 36500
my questions are as follows:
At the time of Claiming relief u/s 89(1)
1) what would be the salary excluding Arrear Salary for AY 2013-14? is it 420000 or 510000 or 525000

For the purpose of showing correct salary excluding arrear salary,
1) as there is difference between salary as per Filed Return,26 AS and Form 16,is there is any need of filing Rectification Return?
2) Is there is any need of Filing Revised return? is it possible now
3) for all how I respond to Demand?

05 August 2016 if demand is paid....then the ASSESSED income should be taken in form 10E....(After all it is the quetion of taxed paid versus to be aid for arrears.....focus on taxes more than income...ok?)

05 August 2016 k...after paying demand,which amount shall i take?
is there is any requirement of rectification as income under 26AS,Filed Return and Form 16 are different?
if I take salary as per Filed return as Salary excluding arrears,in future there is any problem regarding relief claim?

05 August 2016 after paying demand, you should take assessed income.
and please dont get confused with form 16 OR 26 AS......You can go be ACTUAL figures as certified by the employee.
